The horror, thriller movie opens with Erik Harson and her girlfriend lying on the bed, and after Erick leaves to have a bath, his girlfriend goes out of the room to get drinks and plays a song, but then she notices something behind her.
After that, Erick exits the bathroom and is frightened by “You’re Next” on a glass. After seeing his girlfriend’s corpse, a masked man kills Erick. Paul and Aubrey travel home for a 35th anniversary family reunion. After learning that Erik, their neighbor, left his wife for a college girl, Aubrey feels awkward.

After arriving home, they clean and prepare for their children. Next, Paul’s son Crispian and his girlfriend Erin visit Crispian’s parents. After learning Crispian’s father retired from KPR, Erin wants to see them.
Aubrey hears footsteps, gets scared, and tells Paul to leave, but Paul inspects upstairs and tells Aubrey to wait outside. Crispian scares Paul as he opens a closet upstairs. After Paul leaves, the door opens.
After Aubrey embarrasses herself in front of her son’s girlfriend, we see Crispian and Erin’s roo. Erin tells Crispian that he is lucky to have rich parents, while Crispian asks her to wait for his siblings because she will like them.
Crispian and Erin meet Drake and Kelly the next day. Erin assists Crispian’s mother in the kitchen. Aubrey initially denies it, but then she requests milk from their neighbors. Erin photographs Paul, Crispian, and Drake while walking to the neighbors’ house.
Erin knocks at Erik’s house, but no one answers. Aubrey welcomes Aimee, Tariq, Felix, and Zee in the evening. Aubrey welcomes them inside and thanks them for celebrating their 35th anniversary. After dinner, Drake questions and criticizes Tariq after learning he’s a filmmaker. After discovering Erin is his former student, Drake becomes jealous of Crispian and Erin and calls Crispian unprofessional.
Drake and Crispian’s argument distracts everyone while Tariq leaves the table after seeing something strange outside the window. After seeing Tariq die, everyone is scared. Drake saves Kelly from being shot by taking the arrow on his back as they run. Erin advises staying down and away from the windows. Felix suggests the attacker may be jamming their signals when they try to call the police.
They use chairs as arrow shields to reach safety. Erin and Aubrey fail to remove Drake’s back arrow and give him painkillers. Felix suggests that one of them leave to get help and run fast since the attackers won’t expect that. Drake claims to be the fastest, but the arrow in his back makes him and Crispian argue again. Aimee makes them leave. Aimee dies instantly when a sharp wire cuts her throat as she runs away.
Aubrey panics, seeing her daughter die, and Paul leads her to the bedroom. Erin requests they cover all windows and other openings. Erin texts 911, expecting help, and Crispian meets her. Erin runs to the kitchen. Aubrey screams before a masked man kills her from under her bed. Erin is attacked by a masked man while everyone else rushes to see what happened to their mother. She saves herself by stabbing the man in his hand, and he disappears as she picks up something to kill him.
Paul and his kid break into Aubrey’s bedroom and are shocked to find her dead and “You’re Next” written on the wall. Kelly covers Aubrey’s corpse while everyone else leaves. She bends to look under Aubrey’s bed and sees the masked man, scaring her.
Kelly flees the house screaming. Drake tries to save her but falls unconscious when the arrow in his back gets stuck in the wire that killed Aimee. After rescuing Drake, Crispian goes to get a car. Kelly calls Erik for help outside Erik’s house, but the masked man brutally kills her with his axe.
After discovering all cars are broken, Crispian convinces his family to let him go and call for help when he gets a signal. Crispian leaves Erin, promising to return. Paul leaves to kill Felix’s mother’s killer. Erin gathers all weapons in the kitchen. The masked man breaks Erin’s window with Kelly’s corpse on her way back to Zee and Felix. Erin avoids attacks and kills the masked man with a kitchen hammer while Felix and Zee watch.
The couple denies knowing him when Erin removes the mask. The light goes out, and Felix and Zee leave to see Paul, suggesting Erin check the basement circuit box. Paul checks the bedroom and finds Felix and Zee behind him, turning sacred. Erin turns on the basement light while Paul tells his son that the attackers have been watching them for a long time and planned the attack. A masked man cuts his throat and kills him. Felix does not help his father and gets mad at the masked man for killing him in front of him. Felix hires the masked men to kill his parents and siblings for more inheritance.
One of the masked men finds his brother’s corpse and is furious. Erin hides a screwdriver as the masked man screams. Drake distracts the masked man as he axes the door from a hole. Erin stabs the masked man and makes him flee. Felix and Zee return to Drake and Erin, shocked to learn that Erin made the other mask run away. Felix tells Erin their father is asleep. Erin suggests the boys use every sharp object in the basement as a weapon while she and Zee get wood.
Erin puts the nails in the wood in front of the window. Zee asks where she learned this. Erin says she spent most of her childhood in a survivalist compound with her father, who became paranoid and taught her how to survive. Erin asks Zee to stay while she visits Paul in the bedroom.
After Kelly is killed, Drake becomes concerned for her and shouts at Felix. Felix snaps and stabs him with everything. However, Erin discovers Felix lied to her, and as she sits next to Paul’s corpse, a masked man attacks her, but she jumps out the window and gets hurt.
Erin hides in the woods and removes the glass from her leg, but she is spotted and runs inside the house. Erin hides behind the door while the masked man gets hurt and screams after stepping on a nail trap. Felix and Zee arrive, and Felix gets mad at him, saying he had to kill his brother alone.
The masked man gets mad and says his brother was also killed, but he loved his brother more than him. When Felix mentions Erin’s murder, the masked man chokes him. Felix persuades him to stay and offers more money.
Erin’s phone rings, drawing everyone’s attention, and one of the masked men goes to find her. As the man approaches, Erin punches him and escapes. Felix, Zee, and the masked men pursue her but fail. Erin kills a masked man looking out the window. Felix gets mad at his masked friend Tom, revealing that the police will be here soon and they need to catch her fast. Felix requests his crossbow when Tom leaves.
Tom enters through the broken window while Erin sets a trap at the door for Felix or his friends. Erin runs downstairs and breaks all the light bulbs. Masked man follows camera flashlight into basement. Erin blows his head open with a piece of wood because he is barely looking at the camera.
Felix shoots an arrow at Erin after she picks up a knife from the basement and thinks she’s dead. Erin is gone when they look out the window. Zee attacks Erin in the kitchen while searching for her. Felix appears and stabs her in the back, but Erin kills them.
Erin is sitting there when Felix receives a call from Crispian, who asks him what is happening and says he cannot see his family die. After hearing this, Erin is shocked, and Crispian discovers that Erin killed everyone. Crispian says he planned it because he’s broken.
Crispian gives her money and says she was never supposed to die and was meant to be the witness. Erin kills Crispian crying. A policeman shoots her and calls for backup after she kills Crispian. The movie ends when the officer is axed in the head while entering the house.
