In the opening of this action, comedy, crime movie, Santa Claus drinks in a bar with the bartender and another Santa. They debate him and don’t believe he’s Santa. Santa tells the other old man that he’s been doing this for a long time and may retire this Christmas because he’s tired of children’s materialism. Santa leaves, and the bartender worries he may hurt himself. Santa’s sleigh surprises her on the roof.

Jason, Linda, and Trudy travel to Jason’s mother’s house for Christmas in the movie. Al, the Lightstone Mansion guard, greets them and wishes them and Turdy a Merry Christmas. After that, Jason and Linda meet Alva, Jason’s sister, who calls Linda fat and hopes their Senator mother will pass on her power. Alva envys her brother’s family.
After Alva leaves, Jason introduces Linda to Bert, Alva’s son, who loves online streaming, and Megan Steel, Alva’s boyfriend, an action actor in his movie. Alva and her boyfriend then mock Jason for naming his daughter after their mother. Alva and her family try to impress Gertrude, but she ignores them and continues her call.
After the call, Gertrude Lightstone meets her kids and gets sick of Alva’s behavior. Gertrude then hosts dinner. Trudy eagerly awaits Santa after dinner. Linda tells her Santa’s Christmas Magic tells him which chimney to use since their house has many chimneys. After Jason leaves, Trudy complains that her father has not taken her to see Santa at the mall.
Linda and Jason give their daughter a walkie-talkie Jason brings downstairs. Jason gives Trudy the walkie-talkie and asks her to contact Santa. Jason and Linda leave while their daughter talks to Santa and wishes for her parents to reunite. After hearing that Jason and Lindy split, they feel sad for their daughter. After gifting other children, Santa enters their house.
He eats the candies while inspecting the chimney. Santa chills in the massage chair. However, Gingerbread knocks the camera controller and sends a message to his intruders who take over the Lightstone Mansion. After that, Scooger asks Al to fix his car. Scooger shoots Al in the head and enters the mansion with his team when Al calls 911 about Scooger.
Jason calms Lindy by explaining that he was busy and asking her to fulfill Trudy’s wish. He promises change. When intruders kill guards, they hear gunshots. Santa hears gunshots and fails to teleport to the roof. Santa is caught by an intruder. Santa asks him to leave, but he attacks him, causing Santa’s reindeer to flee. Santa defeats the intruder and accidentally kills him and falls out the window.
After that, Gertrude warns Scooger about messing with the wrong family, but Scooger punches her, saying he is not insane to plan the theft of the safest place in the world. Scooger says he knows everything about them, including their 300 Million Dollar vaults. Santa saves Trudy, who is scared. After their teammate dies, Scooger checks the vault. Scooger and his team examine the corpse and leave to find the killer while Santa enters the house. He calls the police but the phone is out.
Santa hears footsteps and finds Frosty, an intruder, searching the house. Santa brutalizes him after a fight. Santa accidentally calls Trudy on Frosty’s walkie-talkie. Santa tells Trudy she’s been good. Trudy requests his assistance in fighting intruders. Santa finds Scooger and his men’s real names on his list and promises to save Trudy.
Santa rushes to Al and finds him dead, while Scooger and his team see him on CCTV. Scooger warns Santa to stay out after seeing Al dead. Santa doesn’t take him seriously, so when Scooger wishes to kill Santa, Santa loses his cool and says he’s coming for him.
Scooger questions Gertrude about the Santa. Scooger is furious when Gertrude says they haven’t hired anyone. He tortures everyone, and Bert suggests starting with Jason, Gertrude’s favorite son.
Trudy stops Scooger from torturing Jason because Santa will kill them. Scooger acknowledges that Trudy knows something about Santa, but Jason interrupts and tells his daughter that Santa is not real. Trudy flees to the attic, saddened.
Candy Cane goes to retrieve Trudy. Santa stitches and passes out, seeing his past. After hearing Trudy’s voice, Santa awakens. Trudy doubts Santa when he asks her to stay.
Santa assures her that he is real, and Trudy asks him to use his Christmas Magic to make her parents fall in love again, but Santa says he has no such power and adult relationships are more complicated.
Krampus then suggests the Lightstone family unwrap their gifts to kill time. Gertrude dislikes Alva and Megan’s gifts. Jason hides his gift, but Bert brings it. After wrapping, Gertrude finds her favorite wine and a letter, which she reads and decides to keep a secret from Jason.
Trudy continues talking to Santa as he lists all her gifts. Santa says he gives the neediest kids. Santa tells Trudy that before becoming Santa, he was greedy and wicked and was called Nicomound. Because he gives the kids what they need and makes them believe in themselves, Trudy reassures him.
Scooger tells his men that Gertrude’s kill squad is coming, and Gingerbread says everything is going according to plan. Santa attacks Candy Cane, who sees him. Scooger catches Santa as he escapes. Trudy looks up and helps Santa. Santa wakes up to Scooger. Santa claims to be real Santa, but Scooger doesn’t believe him.
Santa tells them his bag is magical, and Scooger burns it. Scooger then recalls breaking into his neighbor’s house at 11 to steal their gifts. But they woke up, scaring his neighbor, who fell down the stairs and broke his neck. Scooger was jailed and became a thug. Santa calls him Jimmy and makes Candy Cane and Gingerbread recall their gifts to apologize. Santa teleports to the roof after Trudy distracts them with fake snow.
Gertrude warns Scooger men after hearing the kill squad’s vehicles. Krampus defeats Bert’s smarts. Morgan pushes Kamus and escapes. Morgan informs the kill squad about the situation inside, but Thorp kills him, revealing his traitorous nature. Santa watches as Thorp enters the house and Jimmy leads him to the opened vault. The vault’s empty surprises Jimmy and Thorp.
The kill squad surrounds Santa in the side house. When Santa quits, Trudy talks to him. Santa wishes to see his wife, and his ring leads him to a hammer. Trudy encourages him to kill the bad guys outside. Santa brutally kills the kill squad when they enter.
Jimmy then asks the Lightstones about the money. Jimmy kidnaps Linda and threatens to kill her if they don’t reveal the money’s location. Jason wakes up and admits that he hid the money to steal it tonight, and his mother would have found out in the morning after reading the letter in his present.
Jimmy asks him to lead them to the money while Gingerbread and Candy Cane enter the attic and discover Trudy’s traps. Santa rescues Trudy after hearing about Gingerbread and Candy. Gingerbread mocks Trudy’s trap and gets caught.
Candy Cane barely escapes the traps, and Santa hits her with his hammer when she aims to shoot Trudy. Santa asks Trudy to close her eyes while he kills Candy Cane. Jason leads Thorp and Jimmy to money. Jimmy orders Krampus to kill everyone after finding the money, but Linda and Alva distract him and kill him.
Santa and Trudy arrive, and Linda thanks him for saving her daughter. Santa gives Linda Kramus’s gun after Linda says she can use it. Linda distracts Jimmy and Thorp by attacking. Santa secretly murders Jimmy’s men while Jason hides. Santa chases Thorp and Jimmy when they escape. However, a man attacks Jason and Linda. Linda kills him with a sharp ice bar.
Santa chases Jimmy but tricks him into crashing. Jimmy wins a fight with Santa, but Santa teleports him to the chimney top. Jimmy dies. Thorp shoots Santa repeatedly when he celebrates. Gertrude kills him before he shoots Santa in the head.
After that, Trudy and everyone find Santa dying. Jason burns a money bag to warm Santa, but it’s too late. When Trudy says Santa is real, they believe him. Santa awakens and says it’s his Christmas magic, but he doesn’t know how.
Santa’s reindeer appear with his magical bag and hammer, making him happy. Santa tells Trudy to be a good girl like she was to bring her parents together, and the movie ends when Santa leaves in his sleigh. The film concludes.
