She doesn’t understand Waymond, but he says he’s running out of time and writes Evelyn’s audit meeting instructions on the back of a file. Waymond returns to normal before reaching their floor.
The family’s auditor, Deirdre, suspects fraud. Evelyn reads Waymond’s instructions distractedly. She changes her shoes, imagines herself in the janitor’s room, and presses the earpiece’s green buttons to travel to another world. She’s listening to Deirdre’s audit while waiting for the other Waymond. The other Waymond claims to be from the Alphaverse. They traveled between his universes using a phone mapping app.
He told Evelyn to switch shoes because the program lets him “possess” his other selves in other universes and gain their unique abilities by doing something weird. Alpha Waymond claims JobuTupaki, an unstoppable villain, is destroying the multiverse. Jobu has been searching the multiverse for this universe’s Evelyn to stop him. An alternate Deirdre breaks into the janitor’s room and kills Waymond before punching Evelyn.
