WayOUT has introduced the recipients of its 2025 Affect Award, which can be awarded on the nonprofit’s upcoming Gayla.
Oscar-winning Milk author Dustin Lance Black, RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars Season 2 winner Alaska, Golden Globe-nominated singer Leland and Crooked Media co-founder Jon Lovett are amongst this yr’s honorees, who can be acknowledged on Nov. 15 at Avalon Hollywood.
Black’s award can be offered by his Olympic gold-medalist husband Tom Daley, with extra company to be introduced.
WayOUT’s newest Gayla continues the nonprofit’s mission of supporting life-saving work for LGBTQ youth in susceptible and underserved communities throughout the nation, with the Gayla benefitting Candy Night Breeze, the one group in Louisville, Kentucky devoted to offering housing to LGBTQ youth experiencing homelessness.
Hosted by Darby Lynn Cartwright and Alexis Bevels, WayOUT’s Gayla will function performances by Caroline Kingsbury, Zoe Ko and Fena Barbitall, plus stay and silent auctions. Tickets can be found on-line.
WayOUT LA’s Govt Board consists of Richard Gadsden, Gesumino Aho-Rulli, Zan Poka, Elle Lipson, Brandon Baer, Evan Trevor Thompson, Scott Marszalek, Zac Peeples and Alexander Moore.
