Will gives Detective Paterson all the information he needs for the police investigation. Will checked on Lisa at her parents’ house, two or three miles from the corner store. Lisa’s absence makes the parents, who have no special support for their child in a good situation, suspect Will. The police suspect the partner because Lisa’s extramarital affairs are causing the couple to split. This gave Will the best chance to criticize or kill his wife. Paterson was free. Paterson, a local, says Oscar shows a camera display and CCTV camera footage.
Oscar claims the camera is broken, but Will saw it and its light explode after the expert left. Will walks angry again and subverts Oscar before forcing him to bring the hard drive and records to the Central Police Law. While reviewing the footage, Lisa talks to a man outside the store before the truck speeds away. The video shows Lisa’s parents Knuckles. Paterson finds Knuckles at Will’s car stop. Police are questioning and monitoring Knuckles. Knuckles realize the man needs money for expensive, permanent drugs. He gave Plain a diversion after learning from Lisa’s people that she would return to town in two or three days. They know Lisa is married to wealthy professional Will and that spouses will pay a lot to save their partners. Knuckles acted when he saw Plain rooted to the corner store that morning, even though Plain hadn’t named the plan.
Knuckles pretend to give Lisa a letter to stay at her father’s house, driving Lisa away. He took Lisa to Dull’s drug camp, but the man was furious that Knuckles had to mark the aid desk. Paterson recounts the tragedy at the prescription camp. He asked his partner to sit with a depressed person without telling him Lisa died. He opened the trapdoor and found Lisa alive but unable to move. He bravely saves and discards his wife outside. Knuckles want Lisa’s death, and the magic spell expert says its okay for now. Kill her. He may have saved Lisa if he could get the investment money without giving it to Knuckles.
Paterson tells Will in the garage that Knuckles wrote the statement and took all the credit while Lisa is examined and taken home. The investigator reveals that Knuckles’ form is a critical account of what happened after the seizure because all the others are dead and Lisa will not know, Paterson decides, that Oscar has seen everything. He probably took Lisa’s phone from the convenience store to Direct camp, which crashed when he was caught. Paterson also noticed that some of the zoo’s rare animals expelled tin from the impact, suggesting that he knew it would kill them but that the officer wouldn’t care. Lisa finally gets up and invites Will and her family inside as it rains, a rewarding meeting. Film ends.
