Arthur arrows the queen. Geneida, her witch, betrays Nimue as Arthur kills her with Excalibur. Arthur dismembers Nimue and puts her in caskets. He prayed and sent them abroad.Hellboy calls his father in Trijuana to discuss not making a scene.
Hellboy requires Ruiz. Hellboy found him after a reliable source said he was investigating a vampire nest. Hellboy fights Camazotz. Hellboy tells Ruiz about his Camazotz disguise during the fight. Hellboy fights and reveals a hideous creature. He kills and becomes Ruiz. Hellboy apologizes, but Ruiz predicts death.In the next scene, B.P.R.D. agents take Hellboy to headquarters from a bar. He joins. Hellboy meets his adoptive father, B.P.R.D. leader Trevor Bruttenholm, who says Ruiz’s death was part of the job.

The Heliopic brotherhood of Ra founded the British occult Osiris Club, he says. The group wants him to help find three giants.Witches and beasts discuss avenging Hellboy. Gruagach, a boar-like fairy, claims Hellboy stole and ruined his life. Baba Yaga restores Vivienne Nimue for his vengeance.
England’s Osiris Club welcomes Hellboy.He encounters agents Lord Adam Glaren, Edwin Carp, and August Swain. They describe resurrected giants. Everyone drinks bone marrow in the new forest. Lady Elizabeth Hatton, the club’s seer, tells Hellboy they’re handling the creature that would destroy humanity. Project Ragnarok was designed to kill Bruttenholm.
The boar-like fairy kills St. Sebastain’s Abbey monks to find Nimue’s head and awaken her.Hunters betray Hellboy before the giants attack.While watching TV, Nimue’s creator gives her the leg. Hellboy defeats the giants but is knocked out and saved by a girl. Hellboy recognizes Alice Monaghan, a fairy-rescued baby, in the woman’s flat. Hellboy learns from Bruttenholm that the Osiris Club has the last piece of Nimue’s remains. Hellboy dislikes M11 agent Ben Daimio.
Hellboy, Alice, and Daimio join the club. Hellboy’s father explains Nimue’s motives. Hatton tells Alice Nimue wants Hellboy to start the apocalypse. Gruagach grabs Nimue’s arm, and Nimue uses Hellboy’s frustrations to escape. Ben follows. “Hellboy divulges Gruagach is a changeling who abducted Baby Alice before being brandished with iron by Hellboy, who then gave her back.”
Hellboy’s humanity disgusts Gruagach.The witches perform the ritual and sew Nimue. She tells Gruagach Hellboy is crucial to their final task.Daimio steals a special bullet to kill Hellboy at M11 headquarters with Alice and Hellboy. The saint’s blood confirms a kill after the Holy Father blesses the bullet. Hellboy and Bruttenholm debate his adoption and monsters’ survival. He angrily leaves and gets stuck in an elevator, magically transported to Baba Yaga’s house.
Hellboy trades one eye for Nimue’s blood-restoration location after shooting Baba Yaga’s right eye. She curses Hellboy to lose a loved one for breaking the deal. Daimio tells Alice he was the only survivor of a jaguar attack and hates monsters on the way to Nimue’s location at Pendlehill.Nimue’s full resurrection brings all the creatures to the hill. Nimue kills her witches and asks Ganeida to guide Hellboy.
Ganeida sends Hellboy to Merlin’s grave to save Alice after Nimue poisons her with her crown thorn and flees with Gruagach. Hellboy and Daimio exhume Merlin, who heals Alice before putting them to sleep. Merlin tells Hellboy that his demon father took his mother to Hell, making him a descendant of King Arthur. Merlin suggests Excalibur kills Nimue. He causes the apocalypse. Merlin disintegrates after restoring Excalibur.
The trio returns to London to find M11 staff dead and Bruttenholm missing. Hellboy fights an empowered Gruagach at St. Paul’s Cathedral after following Nimue. Hellboy and Daimio fight Gruagach as powerful jaguars. Nimue kills Gruagach for Hellboy. Hellboy kills her. He falls into Excalibur-bearing Arthur’s tomb under the church.
Hellboy relents after Nimue kills Bruttenholm. After the sword’s removal opens Hell, demons attack London. Hellboy’s demonized. Hellboy’s inspiration comes from Nimue. Daimio watches from behind the cathedral pillar with his hellboy gun and bullet. Alice channels Bruttenholm to stop Hellboy’s demonization.
Hellboy beheads Nimue and throws the sword into the cathedral floor, sending all demons to hell. Hellboy damns Nimue. Hellboy and Bruttenholm’s spirit discuss his father’s saving him despite his monster nature. After his father says Hellboy is mankind’s only hope and his best decision, Daimio discards the special bullet.
Six months later, the trio raids the Oannes Society. Hellboy jaguarizes Daimio. They fight the cult and find an Icthiyo Sapien water tank. Hellboy is comforted at Bruttenholm’s grave by Lobster Johnson’s ghost. He flaunts his fandom and Lobster shows him his claw. He tells him to fight. In a post-credits scene, Baba Yaga asks an unseen force to find and kill Hellboy so she can grant his greatest wish of dying.
